Our first call was to have our old AC looked at. Ray came out and basically said we probably had a leak in our system, but went ahead and added some refrigerant. He felt there wasn’t much he could do to help us so he didn’t even charge us for that visit, which I thought was pretty amazing.
We then began getting several quotes to replace our AC and furnace (which was 34 years old) over a period of a few months, and Royal’s price was far better than the larger companies we talked with. I will admit that I was a little apprehensive at first, because some of the companies we talked to ran load calcs to size the system (which is required if you want an Xcel rebate). Royal’s didn’t run load calcs but sized the system based on the manufacturer’s recommendations and their own experience. In the end, it worked out fine and the system is performing well so far. We got some great, high efficiency equipment installed at a very good price, even without the Xcel rebates. (We actually saved a lot of money by going with Royal’s and skipping the rebates.)
During our installation, Ray made sure that everything done was to our satisfaction. He and DJ were always professional and friendly during the 2 days it took to install our system, even when some minor complications came up that were beyond their control. The price remained as quoted and there were no surprises. I would highly recommend Ray at Royal’s Heating to help you on your home HVAC needs.

Joe is very knowledgeable and friendly. He took the time to talk with me about what I thought was a problem with my furnace.
